Last night I was on my computer and got a virus. A spam virus removal program popped up and started scanning. I tried to open my Malwarebytes but it wouldn't let me. I tried to open it again in safe mode and it still wouldn't let me so I went into the task manager to see what programs I had running and saw kkk.exe I thought it was odd so found it in explorer and deleted it from my computer. After that I was able to open Malwarebytes and scanned it with no problems. Now whenever I go to open a program it asks what I want to open it with. This was alright for the first few times I went on the internet but it got annoying fast and some things I try and open I cant find where they are located. Is there anyway to fix this?

Welcome aboard Posted Image

Download and run exeHelper.

  • Please download exeHelper from Raktor to your desktop.
  • Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
  • A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
  • A log file named log.txt will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com
  • Attach the log.txt file to your next message.

Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).
