Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close......

Spooler Sub System App - Outlook Express, Windows XP Professional - 2002
Trying to print a news letter but it halts at page 4 with the message to notify Microsoft re:the spooler problem.
Is there a download available from Outlook Express that would correct this problem?

First idea is that you have gone past the available memory of the printer (Reduce image to 300dpi from 1200 or 600) also make certain you download the newsletter and print from your disk and not through of the email client program. It could also be the spooler stops because you are out of disk space. Either way goto the event log in the control panel administrative folder and read the error log for clues on where the problem is, Printer/Spooler/File Access timeout.
