I installed Comodo firewall and found that when I try to sign into hotmail iexplorer tries to connect to two different computers. I cant find any malware with malwarebytes, AVG or Bullguard. The only information I'm getting is that its trying to connect via port 55000 which I have forwarded on my router for my torrent client. I have now blocked the attempts but know it must have been going on for sometime. I used Bullguard support at first who advised me to run Combofix but this caused lots of problems, things became unresponsive and I had to reimage the drive. I should have saved a copy of the log but forgot. Is there a way of saving the system without completely reinstalling?
