Have you tried re-installing your operating system?

You and your words....

Will the laptop boot from the CD drive?

Edited by LucheLibre, 03 January 2012 - 11:18 PM.

If it looks like I know what I'm doing, there's a pretty good chance the only reason for that is because
I once asked someone to run chkdsk /r and a BC Advisor smacked me in the back of the head.

Reecie1, if you still need help, please give a more detailed description. What happens exactly when you attempt to boot, and what do you think is the cause (did anything happen prior to this problem)?

regards, Elise
