I downloaded Mozilla Firefox 9 to my Windows 7 laptop. The screens freeze every few minutes. I removed Firefox 9 and downloaded Firefox 8...but no change. The screen still freezes. I have to log off and log back on every time. Does anyone have a FIX for this?

Please include the manufacturer and model of your laptop.

Since you're able to log off, do you mean that only Firefox freezes? Or by log off do you mean restarting the computer? Does it freeze no matter what you're doing, or something specific?

If it looks like I know what I'm doing, there's a pretty good chance the only reason for that is because
I once asked someone to run chkdsk /r and a BC Advisor smacked me in the back of the head.
