Got the win 7 virus, after reformatting it says i have no network. Does not see my modem. Any one know how to fix this. Someone showed me once how but i dont remember.

If you reformatted and reinstalled the OS from scratch you need to install all drivers. Start with the chipset driver, then the video, sound, and modem (or Ethernet card) drivers.
