So I just bought a custom built PC and after hooking everything up and setting it up when it is turned of it is just a plain black screen. Any Ideas on what to do?

It was tested and said to have worked fine. When we first starded it up it showed a type of main screen in which you could right click and adjust things but then my brother tried Control+Alt+Delete and it just became a completely black screen which had the mouse on it but could be right clicked or in any way interacted with.

Could not*

Just bought? Have you talked to tech support from the maker?
Or was it built by a local shop? If so talk to them.
What sort of things could be adjusted with a right click?
Did it prompt to press Control+Alt+Delete?

When you turn it on something should show on the screen. Is there anything appears?

Good luck

It is fresh out of the package. Non local and we have tried contacting customer support. They didn't answer. Right clicking gave optons like adjusinging properties andsuch. It was not advised to press cntr=alt=delete.

Does anything appear on the screen at this time when you turn it on?

What brand and Model is the computer, that may help too.

Cheers
