I have a laptop running Windows 7 and installed with Symantec Endpoint protection. All of a sudden it is infected with WIN 7 Security 2012. there was nothing under start up and also in the desktop .I scanned with Malware Bytes and it removed the virus (Rogue.FakeHDD infection) after that i ran a tool called UNHIDE.exe and i got all of my star up items and desktop items are back. Here is the problem if i boot my laptop in normal mode Symantec network Protection service giving me a warning and its freezes. So my antivirus messed up .Is there anyway to retrieve my laptop?
