I am nicknaming it 'the creature from another planet'...but seriously, what the heck is this thing? I have run everything under the sun and cannot get it to stop popping up on my desktop when I boot up after shutting down. Thank goodness it doesn't show up when I come out of sleep mode.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Cinde

I forgot to mention that it is also on my status bar until I click on the 'x' to delete it each time.

You might wanna try googling for the Openservice 1060 error as it produce different queries. The strange characters are not known.

I managed to turn it off upon start up. It is gone now. It is called "JME Service Loader". I am not sure what that is, but by turning it off at start up, it doesn't seem to be affecting my computer in any other way negatively.
