I was infected with the Vista Security 2012 virus. McAfee is not finding it and i am afaid to lose my pictures and all. i ave tried to open system restore but it doesnt allow me to. Im not computer savy but i need help.

Try this guide. click here. Make sure that you follow this guide directly. This virus can also allow a rootkit from the TDSS family to be installed on your computer. Rootkits take control of different functions, and they can also redirect you to different websites when you are trying to browse for a particular website.
