I have run antivirus, antimalware, etc. I have checked drivers. Sometimes I have to log off and shut down and get back on and then try to get Internet Explorer to open. Most of the time my Outlook Express will not complete receiving mail and I will have to close and reopen, sometimes two, three times before I receive my emails. When I got into Event Viewer, it showed tons of errors-hanging apps with 1001;1002 and fault buckets.

Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List last 10 Event Viewer log
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
  • List Minidump Files
Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.

You have to either...upload the .txt file as an attachment...or copy/paste the content of the .txt file into your next post.

Open the file up in notepad and then go to Edit Menu and select Copy.

In the post box right click on the empty and select paste. Hit the post button, and your results.txt file should be posted.

We need to know more about your BSODs...

Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)

No installation required.

Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program and When scanning is done, go to Edit > Select All.

Then go to File > Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Compliments of Broni

i do see some questionable things in your results.txt file that point towards Malware.

There is a green box with a scan button and it does nothing-no errors. Below this box is instructions
to disinfect. Is that where I am suppose to go?
