Hello- All of a sudden my relic pc has no Audio out the back (Card jacks). The front jacks work fine, and I am thinking it is either a Driver issue or the Sound Card is wheezed. I have played with pc's quite a bit, and even built a couple. I have never had Driver issues before, so there has been no need to learn the in's n' out's, per se. I really don't know if there are any Driver redundancies or not.
Could someone please advise?
Thanks!
tim

PS- Merry Christmas!

If the drivers are installed it's likely a sound card issue. The only way to know for sure is to replace the sound card.

If by some chance you have a spare sound card lying around install it and the drivers and see what happens.

Hi- Thanks for the reply. No, don't have one lying around, but I can get a Creative 5.1 SB Audigy (That's what's in it now, OEM), or put a decent ASUS in it for $28 from the 'Egg. I don't like the Creative pieces, and apparently a lot of buyer's from the 'Egg don't either, based on the Reviews.
Thanks!
