My laptop recently went through a system error, and after that, it's been ridiculously slow. I have scanned with Microsoft Security Essentials (quick and somewhat full) and a full MalwareBytes scan, and have found nothing.
I also ran TDSSKiller, and I found no infection there.
I am attaching an rkill.log (I have ran that too) and I'm not sure if the programs stopped are malware or not.
This log file is located at C:\rkill.log.
Please post this only if requested to by the person helping you.
Otherwise you can close this log when you wish.
Rkill was run on 12/16/2011 at 20:20:46.
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP
Processes terminated by Rkill or while it was running:
Rkill completed on 12/16/2011 at 20:20:49.
I should also mention that some programs (iTunes and Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.2 are what I have encountered so far) do not run anymore due to an "installation error" even though they ran fine before the system error happened.
I thank you deeply in advance for helping me.
