Unfortunately, I only found this incredible community several days
after my computer crashed - and after several days of not being able
to use it.
So I've decided to bite the bullet and do a fresh install rather than
try to salvage my older, slower & corrupt one.
Meaning I'm no longer looking for help on this issue - and I've deleted
the FRST64 scan results to make sure no generous sole wastes their time.
Still, I'm immensely awed at the depth of knowledge I've seen
in this community, and blown away by its generosity.
I'm sure I'll have need of your help in future -
but for now, I'll just thank you immensely for being here, apologize for wasting
any time you may have spent reading my original - or this edited post -
and wish you all a safe, happy and healthy holiday season - and New Year!
Again, all my respect!
I'm afraid, like the poster who started a previous thread on this subject,
my Vista Business x64 system won't start:
"This application has failed to start because consrv was not found."
Windows repair doesn't help.
Any guidance would be immensely appreciated.
Here's the result of the FRST64 scan:
(I've replaced my user name with USER, and deleted certain personal references in file names and locations -
nothing relating to the system, only personal files and their locations.)
Many many thanks!
