i had a problem startin windows: it would not start and system repair/resore failed.

because somebody was impacient: they ran restore to factory settings which means ive lost ALL my data.

apparently: the data was saved to \harddisk0\partition3

1, how do i access that partition

2, how do i restore all my files etc.

Thats where all your data will be found up to the day that a restore was performed. Any new data will be on Drive C.

If you run into permission issues please for this link: How do I take ownership of files and folders?
