Morning Gents and ladies.. I have an odd problem. I run a home network with Uverse and a 2wire router (gateway ?). There are two wireless laptops and my desktop which is wired. For the last ...umm I don't know what I have repeatdly been unable to visit certain sites (ie Linkedin). It just times out. I am able to do so on the other PCS. Initially, I thought it was a firewall issue, but have since removed it without success. I have unplugged the router, released and renewed my ip, read in search of an answer... and NADA. Yesterday, I decided to ping stuff (not sure that I knew what it would tell me)So I found I could initiailly not ping the laptop but after renew and release was able to. Can not ping Linkedin from this PC "Host unreachable. I am using firefox and win xp sp3. I use Avira as my av which contains no firewall. I have tried with it off and nothing.

Any help figuring out whats going on or logs I can produce please guide me. I am stumped ( not that it would take much)... Otherwise, I can surf, but loading pages is a litle slower than the other pcs. Have run eset online scan and Malwarebytes.. clean.

Hello again!

Sorry for the slow reply, I have been tring to look into this a bit more.

As I look at the log I see that you can ping google and yahoo without issue as well as our site here but I might add it had to try twice before it got a reply. At this point I cannot think of any issue that may be preventing you from loading these sites.

What error does the browser give when you try a site that you cannot visit? Also I will ask around a bit to see if any of my other friends here know anything else for you to try. :)
