I got some spyware or adware program on my computer which I cant get rid of. Its called SpywareStrike. It constantly is telling me that my computer has dangerous infections on it and that I should download this SpywareStrike program to delete it. I've ran Norton Antivirus, Adaware, and Spybot search and destroy all multiple times. I've also gone into my computer and deleted the folders and I've gone into add and remove programs and deleted it. And even though I've done all of those, it wont be deleted and it reappears everywhere I delete it from. Does anyone know anything I can do to fix this problem, besides clearing my hard drive? I'd really appreciate some help. Also, I just restarted my computer, and it seems as though the problem has become worse. I've also noticed in my task manager that there are a lot of programs that I dont recognize that are running which probably shouldnt be. Names for them include mssearchnet.exe, eiouptl.exe, nvctrl.exe, and a few others.

Hi There

I have read your post and I think it would be wise for you to post a HijackThis log for an expert to review. I bet you are wondering what HijackThis is. Well it's a program that is simply able to show others what's going on inside your computer, in terms of infection etc..

I recommend you follow the HijackThis preparation guide which can be found here. It is important that you follow the guide closely. A number of scans will be run which may well fix your problem.

As the guide says, after you have completed the scans that are recommended, please post your "HijackThis" log in a new topic in the forum found here. Please add your system infomation and also what problems you are having. Please wait for a few days and one of our experts will get onto fixing your computer for you.

David
