Please help I got this virus back during November and I thought I had removed it but I apparently did not get it all and now I either have it again or a new one.
Windows XP
I went into safe mode with networking downloaded TDSSKiller and ran it.
removed infections
downloaded RKill and ran
downloaded Malwarebytes and scanned 4 different times
deleted 8 infections on quick scan
deleted 6 infections on full scan
deleted 2 infections on full scan
0 infections on full scan
downloaded Hitman Pro and scanned
deleted 1 threat and 9 traces
logged back in under normal operations
checked DNS and host file for any changes (none)
downloaded windows repair tool from tweaking.com and ran program.
restarted computer and I am able to get online but when I try to open up my other programs on my desk top I get application not found or a box will pop up and want to know what program I want to open with. Please tell me what to do next I really need help on this as it is also my work computer.
Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

You rock, thanks so very much.
I would still like to know if I have gotten rid of the residual damage from the virus, can someone help with that. I really would like to know that my system is clean. Thanks
