Crimson editor is not a compiler; it is an editor. You would also need to install a compiler.

You can install the MinGW compiler, which is a Windows port of GCC, or you can install the Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler, which you can obtain from one of the following sources:

  • You could purchase the full version of Visual Studio.
  • You could download the Windows Platform SDK, which includes the command line versions of the compilers.
  • If you're a university student, you can probably get a copy of Visual Studio from the MSDNAA program.
  • If you're a different kind of student, or don't have access to MSDNAA, you can download a full version of Visual Studio from DreamSpark.

Have a nice day,

If you're not going to even try a search I'm not going to help you further.

The directions are pretty clear. Which part is giving you trouble?
