I have a HP Pavillion (new computer) with Windows 7 that is connected to the internet with a Qwest PK5000z modem. It is on a Home Network (Homegroup).

I have a AMD Athlon64 (old computer) with Windows XP Pro SP3 currently not hooked up to internet. As far as I can tell this computer does NOT have wireless network capabilities.

How do I get the old computer online going thru the new computer network?
Everything I have looked up for help tells me to start somewhere else! Do I connect the old computer to the new computer first or to the network first or to the Homegroup or Local Area Connect....or what? Do I need to do something on the new computer first?
