Have you try [Start>Run>winipcfg[/b]. See if you are pulling a IP or Gateway. If you are what is the Gateway IP? Are you HSI or Dialup?

Uninstall Zonealarm and reinstall it.
Then do the same with Firefox (although you can try the upgrade to the newest version instead).

Reinstall SP2.

Try Enthusiast's advice first.

If it doesn't work - don't format, do a repair install first ( http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm ) It'll save your data and programs (but backup anyway - just in case!)
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
