KB2586448 will not upload onto my system. It is an Explorer 9 update. The error code I get is 80073712. I have checked the Microsoft website and followed their instructions but to no avail.

Is this a virus attack? Any advice will be helpful.

Thanks for the info. My system doesn't show pending.xml. I have installed the SP1 for Windows 7. And I have looked in the hidden files, no 'pending' anything.

Thanks again, Bill
