I have Dell Dimension E521 desktop that I am trying to get working again.

I woke up to the computer attempting to start up, and it goes to the DELL screen....takes forever there...then the Windows xp logo appears and it

attempts to start up windows. Next comes a black screen with just a flash of a blue screen with words in the upper left then it goes back to the DELL

screen. Endlessly.

(I have a USB 2.0 to SATA/IDE hard Drive adapter, I thought about just pulling pics and stuff off the hard drive, but it will not read the hard drive.

The adapter works, btw...I don't know what that tells you.)
