Hi there...looking for some help connecting to my wireless router. The computer I am on now is actually connected to the router but I am having trouble with my wife's computer. All of a sudden one day the "online" light on my router was blinking and neither my laptop nor my wife's could connect to the internet, so I unplugged everything, waited a few mins and then plugged everything back in. Online light was no longer blinking, all lights on modem were solid, and I was able to get my laptop back online with no other steps needed. My wife's computer however will not connect to the internet. She borrowed a laptop from her aunt and that won't connect either. I know a bit about computers and networking, but obviously not enough. I compared my wireless adapter settings with hers and as far as I can tell they match up perfectly. I ran a ping test through cmd to ping the router, and it results in a "Destination host unreachable" message, with stats showing it sent 4 packets and lost all 4 of them. In the system tray it initially indicates that the computer is connected to the network at excellent strength and that it is acquiring network address, but then within seconds, it switches to "connecting...." If I open Internet Explorer, I am unable to view any webpages....it always says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". One final note....I tried connecting her laptop to both the modem and to the router directly with a wired connection, and it didn't work either. I am stumped as her computer used to work flawlessly and now it doesnt' and she did not install or run anything on her computer before this happening. It has been several days and no matter what research I do, I come up with no luck in fixing the problem...any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help me!

Ok, so here is the info on her computer:

Dell Inspiron E1505
Running Windows XP Service Pack3
Wirelessly connected
Router is a Linksys WRK54g
Distance from router = approximately 20 ft (although never a problem before)
We have Cable internet service

MiniToolBox results on her computer are as follows:

One last thing....I haven't done this yet, but I am wondering if resetting the router back to factory settings would possibly do any good (with a hard reset on the back of the router)? It's the last thing I can possibly think of that I haven't done yet but I wanted to get some feedback from someone who knows better than me what the heck to do....help! Thank you!

UPDATE: I went out and purchased a new router b/c the situation seemed very fishy. New router installed and is up and running perfectly....all computers and wireless devices working now. Old router must have simply pooped out. No help needed any longer. Thank you.
