Dear Whiz kids,

You know how when you type in a password on a web site and windows offers to remember the password? Well, where are these remembered passwords kept?

I dont think I mean Net.Passports.

I have stumbled across them once so I know they exist but I cant find them again.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Constantine

Hi Constantine

I've looked around for a bit and I don't think you can actually see the passwords that you have saved. I think that they are just lumped together, and cannot be viewed. Do you want to see what password you have saved? Or do you want to delete all saved passwords?

Thanks,
David

Passwords on the NET are saved and maintained by your browser.
Which Browser are you using?

Here is a program very much like Belarc and Everest, but will show every user name and password on your computer. Click on "Secrets"

Look in this key and see if they are listed.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

Also look here:
