I am running Vista and I have tried to connect to the internet and it doesn't let me. I was told that I have a virus, so I scan the computer to remove the virus with avast and even though it found various viruses, the computer still odes not let me connect to the internet.

Please download Farbar Service Scanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
  • Check "Include All Files" option.
  • Press "Scan".
  • It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please copy and paste the log to your reply.
