Please read the following important message. This is not a joke and is slently going on behind our backs and is being forced through. If this suceeds it will blight all our lives in one way or another so please read and give your support.

I found this recently.
It's political but could affect all of us in some way.....
Please pass it along:

PIPA - Protect IP Act - (Senate Version S.968)
SOPA - Stop Online Piracy Act - (House version HR.3261)

... are two bills working their way through the United States Congress
right now, as I speak. Both bills are designed to make a legal impact
on copyright violations. They do this by using a Sledge hammer instead
of targeted remedies.

Not Just an American Problem - If you are not an American, you're
probably thinking "Hey that is a US problem - no sweat off my balls."
I beg to differ. You see the Internet, as it exists today, is based in
the resolution of domain names to IP addresses. These Domain names can
be purchased world wide from non-American vendors, however, these
registrars are licensed by ICANN to sell and distribute these names
and it's no coincidence that the root domain server, which resolves
these names world wide, is in the direct control of ICANN. ICANN is
within the legal reach of US Authorities.

Yea, that is a little deep technically. So here is a video and
information site about PIPA/SOPA that will explain the danger a little
better than my typing can:

Here's the problem folks. This is not some bill that might be a
problem at some point. The Senate version (PIPA) has already passed
committee and could be voted upon this very week. The core sponsors
are shoving this hard and while it is not currently on the voting
schedule, their goals is to schedule it and vote on it before the
public has time to react which is a time honored way of screwing over
the public in America.

The bottom line is that we need Americans to Contact their
Representatives in both chambers of congress and raise holy hell. If
you are not an American, you no doubt know Americans that may not know
about this. I fear time is very short on this and getting shorter.
