Just joined the forum and wanted sh good manners by introducing myself.

I'm a geezer in his 70th year, but I first laid hands on a computer in 1965 and learned several programming languages shortly thereafter; so I'm not exactly a noob. Iam nt an expert either because my career took me into IT management which did not allow me to maintain expert technical skills. I bought a couple of computers before the IBM PC came out, but I got one of them in ' 81 and now have 5 or 6 running plus 2 iPads and 2 iphone4s between the wife and myself.

Howdy! Be gentle with this old fool when he shows his ignorance.

Thanks for listening.

Computing moves a such a face pace that it is very difficult to keep up with every aspect, so questions are always appropriate here.
