This isn't a fresh build it anything. I've been running windows 7 since it came out, and have never had connection problems with the same hardware I currently have. Linksys WRT54G, mine and my girlfriends(running XP) are wired and my friends PC with 7, wireless.

So what happened was me and a friend of mine were playing some LAN games. He thought it would be funny to unplug my Ethernet cable since I was pretty much dominating him. After that, I no longer have an internet connection. I restarted everything, and now he gets unidentified network as well. The thing is, my gf's PC with XP is still connected and working fine.

I've tried a lot of things I've read off Google, a couple cmd.exe techniques, changing network settings from auto to what I have... I'm just not finding a solution. Anyone else ever had this happen?

Run Minitool box from the guide found on the Networking section of BC and post them on your next reply.

Well, I have no idea what happened but I just walked away for a while to regroup my thoughts and now it works. I have no idea what changed.
