Hello,

My laptop recently got infected with malware that causes 'fix system' to appear, while all other programs appear to be removed.
I followed your steps to remove the malware, but cannot seem to remove the problem. I used rkill to kill the malware and have then used Kaspersky TDSS killer to try to remove the problem. TDSS killer detects one threat, but this threat can not be cured. Therefore, I have followed your advice to skip this file. But then no 'restore after reboot' comes up. Would you know how to solve this problem?

I have attached the files you required to be able to help me.
Below you'll find my dds log. Attached you will find ark.txt as well as attach.txt.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

thanks very much in advance,
Steven

Hi there,

I managed to fix the problem. In stead of the suggested options I used another malware cleaner.

Thanks anyway,

cheers
