Hello,
I am having a problem with my new graphic card.
My system is:
-Windows 7, 64 bit (home edition)
-Gigabyte motherboard GA-H61M-S2V-B3 1GB , 128 bit
-Intel Core i3-2100 CPU 3.10 GhZ
_ 4 Gb PC 1333
I bought a new computer recently and everything is working fine except it doesn’t recognize the video card that came with it.
When I turn on the computer and check what card it has in system info – components – devices - display it shows Vga pci card.
I replaced it with my older video card Gigabyte GT 240 nvidia geforce and it is working without any problems. System recognized it right away and it appears in computers system info.
Please help.
Thank you.

did you add the Gigabyte AMD Radeon series HD 6450 after you bought the computer or did it come with it ,anychance you can try the card into another computer

Worked like a charm :-)
Thanks!
Do I have to install the dvd I got with my graphics card or is what I downloaded and installed enough?

Also I noticed that Windows gave a lower grade to this card compared to the previous one.
I thought that Gigabyte Amd Radeon HD 6450 is a better graphics card then Gigabyte Nvidia GT 240?
Which card from those two is better and which one would you recommend?
Thanks :-)
