Dell vostro 1400 laptop running vista home
getting script errors.
I also noticed that above my internet I no longer have my file, print, save buttons and now I'm getting high memory usage messages.

I did do a restore to earlier times but that didn't work either and now I just don't know what to do.
I was hoping that you could tell me which tool/diagnostics to run so I can find out what my problem really is.
I don't have discs to do a total reboot.
I know this is not enough information but hopefully just enough to get a starting point.

Greetings,

I'll need to see a screenshot of the error your talking about. To post a screenshot follow these instructions..

1. Once you you see the error on screen press the Print Screen button. It can also be labeled as Prt Scr.

2. Open the paint program located in the start menu. Start > Accessories > Paint

3. Locate the paste option. Save the image as image1.jpg

4. Open your web browser > go to www.mediafire.com

5. Drag the image into the folder on screen > click the share button.

6. Copy & paste the address into your next post.

the script error is from IE.
I'm still trying to get a print screen of the script error so I can post it.
Periodically I also get a pop up that windows can not display this page and will try to recover.
I know this happened after an update that probably didn't update correctly.
The script error message changes but I'll still try and get that along with checking the link I was just sent.
Please be patient while I try to figure this out with you.
THank you for your responses.

here is one of the script error messages.

I downloaded firefox and so far no script errors but I still don;t see my tabs from windows in the background.
I really think a windows update installed incorrectly and screwed up my laptop.
