I just got home from a black Friday deal with my new laptop. HP w/ 320 GB hard drive and 3 GB RAM. My question is: when I open it and go online the fist time, what antivirus/anti malware/anti whatever should I put on immediately, to stay pristine (or at least try too!)? I don't know a lot about computers, but am not a total moron. Any advice (and other tips/tricks) would be MUCH appreciated!!

Thanks!!

Is it a WIN 7 ??

I would start with either Avast or Avira ..These are Free

For a Pay AV use ESET or Kaspersky.
