I have experience this when I encountered sudden power off of my PC. It returned back to normal after our IT personnel deleted some FOLDERS named regsvr.exe, logo1_.exe, logo_1.exe and all folders with an extension .exe found in windows and system32 folders. But the thing is the folders keeps on showing up after sometime or when I first boot up.

Is this a malware? My escan AV does not seem to detect this since I am scanning my PC daily and it does not detect this as a virus.

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 7 to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Hello, rsa101!

I couldn't help you to find out or solve the problem, but I suggest you to install Zemana antilogger as a prevention measure in the meantime to avoid any unauthorized key strokes (just in case). You could use the 15 day trial period only. Check reviews at Cnet, Softpedia and 10TopReviews; it's well reputed.
