I am new here to the forums so I am hoping for the best. Last night I decided to run a facory default restore instead of going through my whole computer to decide what stuff I wanted to get rid of. I only did this because there are very few things I really use anyways. As I started the process I walked away from my computer AND SHUT THE SWITCH OFF in my room. This led to my computer battery..which dies fast..to die some point in the process. Now everytime I start it whether in regular mode, or safe mode I get the messsage "Windows cannot complete installation in safe mode. To continue installing windows, restart the computer. I have a recovery CD but I am not sure how to run it seeing as I cant even get on the computer. I get this message at the point where you would normally log onto the computer. I am not sure what to do. Please advise.

PS I am on a different computer

Manuals, All HDX 18 Series

You'll find a section backup/recovery in the appropriate manual for your system.
