My inability to open any Ebay site started yesterday. I have one desk top PC with XP, a lap top which uses wifi off of my router. The lap top uses XP also. And finally there's my wife's Ipad that runs off the router as well. None of the three can open any Ebay page.

I could sure use some guidance in how to get things back to normal.

Thanks,
Fred

Clean out your cache. See if that works.

Yup, cleaned the cache. All cookies, files, etc have been cleaned. Keep in mind, we're talking about three separate computers in a network that can't access Ebay and other sites as well. Most sites are not a problem, but Ebay is a problem.

Seems to me there is some sort of a problem on the network level. Otherwise, one of the computer would surely not have the problem.

My router is an old, low power Linksys. I wonder what a more up to date router might do.

You didn't say anything about other sites. It's gotta be a problem with your router. Maybe it needs to be reset.

Ebay is the site I focus on the most, but yes there are some other sites that won't come up either. I had the entire system down and unplugged all last night. Didn't help. Certainly, that should have reset the router. But even so, I still suspect the router of causing some of this problem.

Try using google search engine and type ebay from the search box then directly click on suggested site.
