VLC Media player Crashed

Hi,
I have downloaded the vlc player and install successfully.I was playing a 3gp video. Suddenly this media player has been crashed.A message shown bellow-

vlc media player has encountered a problem needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience

If I reinstall it will happen again? Would anybody help me?

Have you tried playing the video, again?
Have you tried a different video?

Yes,I have tried with same video but after sometimes it crashed and give the massage send error report.
MPEG formate are playing well but HD movie not playing well.
