2 days ago i was infected with the win32/baster worm, when i start my computer a virus protection starts up with out my notification, i didn't install this software or anything. i never let it run a full scan. I would start the computer in safe mode install avg run a full scan update it. It would seem to help however later last night, a strange "commerical" sound came from the computer. I have heard it refferd as a "pop-under" instead of a pop up. and then virus has re-appread i have read that i can use rkill along with malware, and I use avg since it is a 3-1, i've read to use super-anti-spyware (however) its seems that avg is better now. Im trying my best not to re-format the computer, and i feel stupid that i cant' fix this this beacuse im usually good at fixing all kinds of problems on the computer, you name i can fix it. but this has me stumped. Wondering if anyone out there has any good info on to give me to try. Thanks for your help.
