hi, i recently tried to upgrade my memory from 1.5 gig to 2 gig and i had troublr getting my video to come up. it seems as the computer was trying to boot there was hard drive activity. there wasnt any error beeps so i was a bit confused.
at this point i started swapping memory until i could get computer to boot normal. at this point i down loaded a program called cpu-z and discovered some strange numbers. the matched set wouldn't post completely but the mixed set would. they're all 1 gig pc2-4200/533 Mhz ddr2. but the reported speeds in cpu z has one at 200 and 266 mhz and the other at 266 , 333,and 400 Mhz. can someone please help i would like to put the most ram in my computer and have a matched set but obviously im a little lacking in knowledge.
