My windows live mail acts like it's going to start but does nothing. I had norton security suite and unistalled it, because I thought the email scanner messed it up. I don't understand what is going on. I looked on the internet for an answer, but didnt find anything useful.

I need some help to figure this out.

It is Windows 7. Windows Live Mail was uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck.

In all my readings about corrupt files in windows live mail, if they were corrupted files, I would get an error message. All I get is a circle, going round and round. It sounds like by uninstalling and reinstalling it doesn't help. I did this and nothing changed.

Maybe if I let it go for 10 minutes, I would get an error message. Is it possible that there is a virus or spyware?

Sorry it appears no one was familiar with your issue, and able to offer assistance. Thank you for sharing your workaround.
