Please help, I have been having so many problems with my pc and thought it was fixed. But I tried to connect to the internet this morning and my TCP/IP settings are gone. For a list of stuff I did before this problem occurred please see the windows xp discussion for irql driver not less or equal discussion. I called tech support at my isp and they said this is something I have to fix. I went to microsoft.com and read how to reset the tcp ip settings and did that but it didn't work. When replying please understand that I am very retarded when it comes to trying to fix pc issues and write step by step, in english. Thanks so much for any help. :flowers:

I'm retarded in the same way.
I reformat/repartition/reload frequently.

Between fresh loads I'm backing up files and studying why it is this winXp does what it does when it does it.
I seem to never run out of retarded things to do.
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...
