I have installed a new 250 gig hard drive ( this makes number three ) and it is showing up as a CD drive not a hard drive.
I am running windows XP with a 3 gig processor, and I have one DVD RW drive.
When my system initially started with the new hard drive it showed system changes and they were correct, one 80 gig, one 1000 gig and one 250 gig hard drive, with one DVD drive.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I finally figured it out and got my new drive formatted using diskmgmt.msc.
Thanks for all the help.
