I have a HP tower running xp on a 2003 network. It became infected with fake trojan virus so I performed all the scans, mbam, avg, combo, r-kill then finally unhide.exe. I also used oldtimer tfc, as there have been a lot of users on this pc surfing etc, which I feel might be an issue as I can not logon to the network correctly- windows creates a temp profile for me. Do you have any info or pointers on this please. Thanks in advance.

IMO...if you needed a temp profile to logon...the smart thing to do would be to create a duplicate profile now and transfer your current data/settings to it...then delete the damaged profile.
