I am the guy at my company that takes care of the PC's / server. I am fairly knowledgable but by no means an expert. My network has about 20 pc's and a Small Business server 2003, this is protected by Trend Micro security Suite that has coverage for the pc's, the server, and the Exchange server. Overall Trend is an OK product but I am shopping for a new solution that is a good program that does not have a high overhead, and will not cost me a ton of money.

I have Avast on my home pc's and like it.

What do you think is a good solution? and why?

Thanks, Bob

Do you need centralized management of your AV installations?

And I assume you want the same product on PCs and server, I mean from the same AV company?

Yes, I am looking for one product to cover the pc's and the server with centralized management.

Thanks, Bob

I am afraid I am not very familiar with managed AV solutions for small companies.

I am familiar with enterprise solutions, but that is too costly for you, as you need dedicated servers, sometimes even dedicated database servers.

But I've seen something a couple of years ago that might be interesting for you: Panda Cloud Antivirus, by Panda Security. Centralized management is done by Panda on their cloud servers, to which you get access for your users via a web application. Also, signatures should always be up to date, as they are "in the cloud".
