This has happened for the 2nd time already and I'm not going to go through massive trouble of re-formatting my computer again. I updated 59 components off the Microsoft Windows Update website and the damage one (perhaps) update does is that it prevents me from logging onto applications like MSN Messenger, playing multiplayer games, retrieving updates, checking my Hotmail account. Heck, I've been blocked off from at least 50% of the usual internet activity I do all the time. What seems to be the matter? Should I just uninstall each update one-by-one? Please reply to gyro2pyro(at)hotmail.com.

Thanks everyone,
Jeffrey

I've experienced problems with updates at Microsoft, too.
These problems take some time to iron out.
Posts regarding problems here should be solved here,
the email requests defeat the purpose of the site ...
that being to solve one guy's problem so many
others can benefit. See my point?

Also, web crawlers do harvest email addresses to automatically send you spam.
Leave it up and 2 weeks later, get spam. In large cans.

So, I edited your addy, Gee Whiz

Post more details for additional help here as a reply, OK?

Windows Updates seems to be the problem.
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...
