Hello all, I recently had a virus on my computer and did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate. Now it seems that randomly my processes will stop responding, usually if I have a couple things running at once. I cant seem to burn a dvd because everytime it will crash during it. Usually when it happens all the processes wont respong, task manager wont come up and a couple minutes later my system restarts. I have run a memtest and it turned up with no errors. Thx all

When you say "clean install", did you delete the existing partition(s) and reformat before installing? And after installing, did you download and install all drivers starting with the chipset driver?

You know what, just to be on the safe side why don't you post in the Am I Infected forum. Let's make sure you got rid of the malware.
