Hi everyone
I am not sure if, i am posting this in the correct forum.
I am running Win XP PRO SP3
Dual core pentium
I had a problem a while back,
i updated to the latest version of Super antispyware
Ran a scan then i could not use the internet, my modem says i was connected, but there was now download speed,
I took the modem back to where i had brought it and the techy guy fixed it,
On saturday i ran super anti spyware again,
and yeasterday again i could not connect,
i found i had to delete my modem, and reinstall it
it still never worked,
finally i unpluged the modem , reconnected it in another USB port now it works again.
has anyone else had this problem
i hope to hear from someone more learned,
i hope this helps others
Steve

Are you sure its the USB port and not the Ethernet or WAN port of the modem going to your PC? Please post your computer and modem brand model?

Ok. Do you have any connection problem when Superantispyware is not scanning? I believe you cannot interrupt the scanning process most specifically running online session.

FWIW: I run SAS routinely and I've never seen it prevent Internet access/connectivity...or anything else I wanted to do on my two systems. You may be heading in the wrong direction of cause/effect.

I hope i have found the solution to this problem
i searched through the on line manuals
and found a section on not being able to connect to the net
it said to change certan settings
i tryed and tryed
till i found a chapter, then it told me to change sttings while NOT BEING CONNECTED
i saw that after connecting it said NONE
i went to a drop down menu and selected BROWSER
now it works great
I hope this might help others
thanks for your help
