Hello. There is a new "tool bar" in Firefox. I have Firefox 8. It appeared this morning. It appears to be some sort of news update. It appears at the top of the browser under the tabs. It has an orange circle on the far right. What is this? How do I delete it?

Thanks.

It looks like it is a hotel game called Habbo. You got it from somewhere. It didn't install itself. The way to get rid of it or any other Firefox extension is to open them and uninstall it as per the instructions at this link.
