hi there, i ran 'spybot' lastnight and it came up with 'teknum Systems Updater', this is not in the add and remove program list but there is a folder at... program files, common, teknum. It also has an uninstaller.... but it doesn't work ( even in safe mode).
Thia pc is only 4 days old and after a bit of reasearch it seems that this updater comes with 'Handytips' this is not a program that i have downloaded and 'handytips' is no where on my pc.
This updater seems to have very mixed views from people.... so has anyone any ideas on it??

Spybot recommends removing it, you did not knowingly install it, and an internet search suggests it is malware. Those three reasons are enough (i.e.,"neccesary and sufficient") for me.

John
