So I wanted to view the hidden files in the Usr folder. I right clicked, and hit view hidden files, and it said it would take 10 mins. So I did some things in my lab, and when I go back I see all the files on my desktop being removed! I hit cancel, but now it is gone. I can do a search and find things individually, but I had a lot of articles and proposals saved on the desktop, and I can't remember what I titled each article. Has anyone had this problem? Will a system restore bring back all my folders and files on my desktop?

I don't think I have any virus as I haven't downloaded anything in weeks, I have just been writing on my computer.

Edit: It is also saying Catalyst Control Centre has stopped working. Host application. I am doing a system restore now.

Nevermind. I got it back. I am an idiot! I actually clicked to hide the folder! I am undoing that process with everything now. DURP DEE DURP
